Today I am wearing a beautiful delicate lace dress from Goodnight Macaroon. This dress is by far one of my favorite items in my closet. I love the lace and the cut of the dress, I mean, how cute are the sleeves?! Dress c/o Goodnight Macaroon – here

Today the high is going to be around 99, but will feel like 102. With that in mind I definitely wanted to wear my hair up and out of my face. I opted for a super easy and chic side braid – this cute hairstyle takes less than 3 minutes to achieve! (thinking about doing a tutorial – thoughts?) I wore this beautiful white tank with an open back from Lavender Boutique and some light colored dress pants from the Loft. This gorgeous blush handbag is from Target (reminds me of Kate Spade)! I have been eyeing it since it came out a few months ago but didn’t want to spend $40 (because lets face it, no one needs a new handbag). I went into target yesterday to grab a few items and spotted this beauty – the last one they had – on clearance for under $20! I knew it was meant to be! Top c/o Lavender Boutique – here

I have ordered a few of Target’s Beauty Boxes and thought I’d share my thoughts on the current two (mens and womens)! These boxes sell out quickly, so if you are considering ordering the next one for yourself, don’t wait!
This box also comes with a coupon for $3 off a beauty purchase of $15 or more at Target. I was super excited to open my box and see the lipstick and nail polish shades! Both colors I will definitely use! A beautiful red lipstick called “Gladiolus” (smells great!) and “Energetic Red” nail polish. It appears that it is a variation of Fekkai hair care products that people are receiving, I am already a HUGE fan of the one I got and have been using it for several months now – it makes my hair silky smooth.
Overall I am extremely pleased with both boxes, great value and products!
I had the pleasure of being a hair model again this past weekend for Bumble & Bumble, what gal doesn’t love having their hair done!? This class was perfecting the textured look and creating an updo.
This time I selected the BB Repair blow dry cream, that I am absolutely in love with! Y’all, this product has saved my hair! Would definitely recommend purchasing if you, like me have dry/split ends or color your hair on a regular basis. It works wonders.
repair blow dry
blow dry hair back to life
What: This serum-in-creme elixir for dry or damaged hair helps seal split ends and protects against heat, breakage and UV damage, too. Proven to help repair hair with every blow dry and keep styles looking soft, smooth and healthy for up to 3 days.
Who: Dry or damaged hair that needs tender loving care.
When: On clean, damp hair before blow-drying.
How: Work evenly through damp hair. Blow-dry, section by section, until dry using a flat brush for sleek looks or a round brush for more movement and bend. For pin-straight styles, finish with a flat iron.
I love the way my hair turned out, a bit shocked she got it to have so much volume as I have very thin fine hair. I think I will attempt to re-create this look on my own!
Temperatures will reach nearly 90 degrees here today, what a great excuse to wear this fun flowing maxi skirt! I paired this high-wasted skirt with a lace embellished crop top from H&M, studded leather Zara flats and my favorite handbag.
I finally figured out how to do a fishtail braid this morning!
It is so easy:
-divide hair in to even sections
-take a small section from the back of one of your larger sections and bring it up and over both sections; repeat with opposite section, making sure the smaller sections cross over both of the larger sections.
Here is a easy to follow tutorial I found on YouTube!
On Sunday, I was a hair model for one of the teaching classes at Bumble & Bumble Creative House, downtown Orlando. This was my second time being a hair model, and I absolutely love it! The class I was a model for was a Flat Brush Blow Dry.
My stylist Kelsey was great, she wasn’t intimidate by my long hair either (and if she was, she didn’t show it). The ladies at Bumble & Bumble are always so pleasant which makes for a great salon experience!
In exchange for the roughly 2.5 hour styling class I received the product of my choosing – this time I selected the hairdresser’s invisible oil heat/UV protective primer (which is currently one of their best selling)! I had never tried out this particular product, and wanted to try something new. I typically use the BB Prep and Tonic Lotion, both of which I love!
Full bodied hair – the after shot!
I cant wait for my next appointment!
Yours in Style,
