Orlando Meet + Sweet

Last night I attended an Orlando blogger meet up held on the patio of Ember night club. I had the opportunity to meet some fabulous ladies and local bloggers and sample some sinfully delicious sweet treats from local vendors! (I don’t even dare think about how many calories I consumed in less than 2 hours…!)

I sampled the out of this world lavender + bourbon marshmallows from Wondermade – they were absolutely delicious and unlike any marshmallow I have ever had.
If you are local to Central Florida – you should check out their monthly workshops! Tour the kitchen, and decorate your own marshmallows! Tickets available on their website!

Sky Candy’s Gourmet Cotton Candy was I thought one of the most unique sweets at the event. They offered coconut + lime flavor or strawberry-raspberry truffle! I opted for the berry truffle and ate it all!! Yumm! I was pretty impressed with her cotton candy making skills too!

A family owned and operated gourmet pop company! I couldn’t help myself and had to sample two of the tempting flavors. I tried Piña Colada and Mojito – both were excellent!IMG_20150325_212432

Probably my favorite treat of the night – the Raspberry Swirl Cheesecake – YUM. I could have eaten so many of these sinfully rich little cakes! I also tried some of the dark roast coffee – also delicious! The fellas working the booth were also super friendly!

Raspberry puree is swirled into our rich creamy vanilla cheesecake and garnished with white chocolate curls and real whipped cream.

Butter Milk Bakery – again another very tempting vendor! I wanted so badly to try each one of the baked goods they had to offer, but selected the Matcha-Lemon Crossiant because I knew I had never tried anything like it before. Delicious!

I really enjoyed getting to meet the faces behind these yummy local sweets! #eatlocal !
